Your primary responsibilities will include the following:

- Be responsible for the design and development of applications, APIs and device drivers for the next generation of SDKs for Ethernet switching devices

- Work closely with Hardware, Architecture and Design teams to define requirements and architecture for software support for Ethernet Switches/Phys/Reference Boards spawning across several device families

- Contribute to and help drive the definition of driver and software architecture for new and existing devices.

Requirements:

- MS/BS CS/EE Degree or equivalent required.

- Minimum of 8 years of Software Development experience (SDK, Drivers & API preferred.

- Experience with device drivers and diagnostics and understanding of hardware devices

- Very strong programming skills in C

- Experience with real time and/or embedded operating systems, e.g. VxWorks, embedded Linux, etc.

- Good understand and hands-on experience with system primitives such as timers, DMA, interrupts, cache configuration and device registration

- Excellent work ethic, dependable, and responsible

- Must be a flexible self-starter who can ramp up with new technologies quickly

- Imaginative, motivated, and able to work effectively under pressure

- Strong logical and creative problem-solving skills, good oral and written communication skills, and excellent analytical skills
