Business Analyst Intern

The internship will provide an opportunity for you to learn about the fast growing world of securities litigation settlements, while working with an experienced industry leader in a small, funky, and fun start up environment. You will review claim submissions, analyze them for accuracy and work collaboratively with others to resolve issues. Responsibilities include responding to calls and emails, processing settlement checks, follow up with claims administrators and client services to ensure all documents are received and inputting information to track open claims.

Responsibilities:

Data input and track progress of claims filings

Analyze claims and compare trade data

Process settlement checks

Office administration and answer phone calls

Qualifications:

Educational background in Math, Statistics, Economics, or Business

Self motivated and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision

Proficient in MS Excel and Access (MS Outlook is a plus)

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Great organizational skills and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize

Comfortable working in a fast paced environment

Flexible and able to adapt to quick changes

Knowledge of stocks and options is a plus
