Windows System Administrator Starts IMMEDIATELY

The company is looking for a contractor to fill a Windows Systems Administrator position to support a major infrastructure overhaul. You will work with a top notch team of systems engineering professionals that supports the entire corporate domain. Responsibilities:

1) Ensure that manual backups to tape are initiated daily and manage logs

2) Manage file system permissions and requests for permissions changes on file servers

3) Implement IT management policies into business and research operations

4) Monitoring disk space on servers and provide daily data back-ups

5) Provide 2nd Tier support to end user personnel

6) Maintain system security protocols and privacy of information systems

Requirements:

? Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, MIS, Systems Engineering or Equivalent in Windows certifications

? 3+ Years in experience managing Windows 2003 / 2008 servers

? Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

? Able to evaluate critical systems, prioritize workflow, and determine solutions
