Senior Systems Administrator ? InfoSec

We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator with extensive information security experience to join the Information Security team. You will provide technical security expertise to support the overall security goals of the company. You will work closely with the IT staff to design, implement, maintain, and monitor the security architecture.



Responsibilities:



· Analyze existing systems, applications and architectures for security risks and vulnerabilities.

* Design and lead implementation of security tools to improve monitoring and compliance functions.

· Perform incident response activities and forensic analysis of security breaches.

· Pro-actively analyze syslogs on all systems and network infrastructure.

* Work as a member of team to develop new policies and standards as appropriate and drive awareness across the organization.

Requirements:



· At least 5+ years experience in Information Security, Information Technology, Internal Audit or related field.

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

· Advanced knowledge of security concepts and principles.

· Experience with risk management concepts and methodologies.

· Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and networking

· Advanced knowledge of UNIX

· Strong knowledge of Windows servers

· Extensive experience with Intrusion Detection System/Intrusion Prevention System and firewalls.

· Advanced knowledge of Security Incident Response processes.

· Experience with Computer Forensics

· Strong knowledge of Penetration Testing

· Superior knowledge of security log analysis

· Experience conducting security reviews



Preferred:



· BS/MS in Computer Science

· Knowledge of security regulations including HIPPA, SOX and GLBA.

· Experience working with security frameworks such as ISO, NIST and COBIT.

· CISSP or CISA certification preferred
