Information Service (IS) Delivery Manager - This leadership role is responsible for managing all aspects of the company?s operational infrastructure and service delivery.
Summary:
The delivery manager oversees a broad range of technical areas including server administration, data center infrastructure, networking, telecommunications, system administration, procurement and logistics. As the delivery manager, you must be a seasoned IT leader with demonstrated technical and management background.
Responsibilities:
? Oversee the day to day management of operations (see attached breadth of scope)
? Work with internal and external technical partners to enhance our infrastructure and network architectures.
? Take responsibility for the management and implementation of multiple projects for your team.
? Hire, coach and develop a team of technical staff to best meet objectives.
? Ensure data center related priorities are consistent with objectives.
? Help define and achieve company and departmental objectives.
? Lead and direct various analyses focusing on such areas as risk mitigation, feasibility, ROI, etc.
Requirements:
? BS or BA in a technical field preferred.
? 5-10+ years experience managing managers/team leads and technical teams.
? At least 4 years experience with Linux/Unix and Windows system administration.
? At least 4 years experience working in datacenters building out using in-house and co-located facility models.
? Solid understanding of HVAC, power requirements for datacenters.
? Solid understanding of PC hardware architecture, maintenance, and repair.
? Demonstrated strategic problem solving skills and planning.
? A mix of intelligence, integrity, strong analytical ability, verbal agility.
? Expertise in leading projects, especially within a mission critical facility.
? Demonstrated financial planning background.
