The company is looking for a strong analyst to support corporate initiatives aimed at redesigning our ordering process and commerce applications using a User-Centered Design Approach by providing process/data analysis, process improvement, requirements gathering, and user experience transformation.
Detailed responsibilities include:
- Receive guidance from user experience team to define and document new user experience concepts
- Review documentation, gather inputs from users and cross functional partners
- Create task flows
- Document user and business requirements
- Write use cases
- Perform QA and UAT testing
- Develop documentation, training materials and information regarding revised processes and support implementation
- Work with IT to develop business system functional requirements to enhance systems capabilities in support of re-engineered processes
Skills
- 6+ years industry related experience analyzing and developing business processes with a strong preference for substantial experience with e-commerce processes and systems in a global enterprise
- Experience in User Centered Design methodology
- Experience conducting and documenting customer research
- Change manager with proven ability to achieve results by introducing new methods and thought processes to drive business improvement, especially around user concerns
- Excellent written and oral communications; strong process documentation skills desired.
- Meeting facilitation skills are a must
- Experience with business process engineering (i.e. six sigma / DMAIC) beneficial
- Proven record of strong, cross-functional relationship building and collaboration and ability to influence peers and cross-functional partners
- Strong team player capable of working with both IT and Business people at all levels of the organization
- Ability to accurately compile and analyze metrics and provide input for future requirements.
- Proficiency with using Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is a must
- Experience with portal technologies desirable
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in fast-paced environment is a must
