Our team is an internal consulting unit within the company. Our job is to define, develop & deliver reports and ad-hoc analyses that help our business partners make better business and marketing decisions. We support business partners in Sales, Marketing Communications, Client Experience, Finance and Operations.
Our services are in heavy demand due to our reputation for accuracy, strong business insight, outstanding productivity and attention to detail ? allowing us to seek candidates to grow the team further.
Position Responsibilities:
In this new position reporting into the Senior Manager level, you will define, develop and deliver reports and ad-hoc analyses to support our business partners. To accomplish this, you will:
* Do accurate and highly efficient programming in SAS, SQL and Visual Basic
* Research, analyze and leverage data from a wide range of internal and external sources
* Define, develop & deliver new reports and reporting enhancements in one or more of the following areas: sales and marketing effectiveness metrics, prospect acquisition analysis, client behavioral trends and client financial/demographic profiling
* Package the resulting reports and analyzes using Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint
* Develop and apply a deep and broad understanding of the underlying business & marketing issues that your reports are intended to address, in order to ensure their accuracy & relevance and to help you define & deliver the most impactful enhancements
* Constantly look for areas for improvement and optimization to reduce manual effort required and to increase accuracy and reproducibility
* Work independently and with the team as a whole to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple projects within aggressive deadlines
Qualifications:
* BA/BS degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, life sciences, etc.
* 3-5+ years or more work experience in a programming, analytical and/or consulting role
* Strong programming (SAS & SQL), business analysis and data analysis skills, plus enthusiasm and commitment to growing these skills even further
* Experience, ability and enthusiasm for working across multiple platforms, including PC, UNIX, Linux and mainframe
* Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
* Interest and ability to work both independently and in highly collaborative cross-functional teams
* Proven attention to detail
