The Claims Assistant aids the claims examiners in the administration of indemnity claims. The successful candidate is computer literate, has excellent organizational skills and is able to succeed in an environment of rapidly changing priorities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: the issuing of benefits checks, filing and serving legal and medical documents, communicating with medical providers, and preparing correspondence as directed.
Education:
An Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is required.
