Summary:

We currently have a position for a Senior Accountant working in the On Demand division. As a Senior Accountant, in accordance with GAAP, you will apply consistent revenue recognition policies and procedures as defined in EITF-0021, SAB 104, SOP 97-2 to transactions associated with the company's various products and clients. You will work collaboratively with business and finance partners to determine and provide the necessary invoicing, reporting, analytical tools and support for these revenue and deferred revenue transactions.



Responsibilities:

· Review and interpret the related contracts to determine & execute proper billing

Provide support for all aspects of month end close activity related to Revenue and Deferred Revenue activity for the transactions including:

· Perform timely reconciliation of items related to transactions to ensure data integrity of revenue, deferred revenue and other data metrics.

· Compile and record authorized monthly journal entries. Including allocation of revenue between deliverables based on vendor specific evidence of fair value as applicable.

· Prepare revenue and deferred revenue reconciliations, roll-forward analysis and reports for internal and external reporting related to the revenue transactions.

· Support Online Controller with quarterly and annual financial and SOX Reviews and interact regularly with internal and external auditors as necessary.

· Work with Senior Management to perform various end-of-quarter reports such as revenue fluctuation analysis, customer and product reports and other ad hoc analyses as requested.

· Develop detail margin reports and customer profitability analysis.

· Additionally responsible for accounts receivable and collections.



Requirements:

· BA in Finance or Accounting

· 5+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in revenue accounting

· Expert level Excel skills

· Must be a team player with the ability to work collaboratively within the group as well as across business units/functions.

· Excellent analytical and organization skills.

· Ability to work independently within tight deadlines and balance workload effectively.

· â??Software as a Serviceâ?? industry experience a plus

· Experience with Great Plains and Oracle a plus
